The Bradford Care Alliance Chair is Dr Richard Haddad, who is also a practicing GP Partner at the Saltaire and Windhill Medical Partnership. Richard has years of experience of the politics and challenges in Bradford from his CCG Clinical Board and Out of Hospital days, and is acknowledged as a natural leader and relationship builder. His true belief in collaboration makes him the perfect Chair for BCA and an integral member of IMB, supporting vision whilst making things happen from the ground up in primary care and across the system.

Dr Tariq Aziz, I’m a GP based in Bradford with a keen interest in urgent care and improving how services work across the system. At Bradford Care Alliance, I bring clinical insight and experience from both frontline practice and wider service development. I’m particularly focused on supporting primary care transformation, workforce planning, and using digital tools in a practical way to help teams deliver safer, more joined-up care.

I’m Liz Brook, Practice Manager at The Ridge Medical Practice. With over 15 years of experience working in Primary Care across Bradford, I am passionate about driving improvements that enhance the healthcare journey for our patients—particularly those affected by health inequalities in our city. I am a strong advocate for community-based projects that make a meaningful difference at a local level. As a Director on the Bradford Care Alliance Board, my focus is on promoting collaborative working across primary care providers in Bradford. My goal is to help simplify systems, improve access to services, and support our member practices in delivering the best possible care.

Sarah Rhodes is passionate about the Practice Manager’s role and primary care as
a whole and in Bradford. Sarah has over 25 years’ experience in Primary care,
with 20 of those as a Practice and Business Manager. Sarah’s practice has been
accredited as Gold Investors in people and this year they are aiming for
Platinum. Sarah is a regional representative for the new Practice Manager body
– IGPM – Institute of General Practice managers and an accredited member MIGPM.
In conjunction with her practice and her knowledge of commissioning, Sarah has
knowledge of service development, CQC, Contracting, AQP’s, Business Development,
Strategic Management, and local Bradford City demographic demands. Sarah keeps
herself updated with numerous journals and reading is her priority to ensure
she is fully aware of upcoming changes and transitions. She has recently
graduated from Bradford University with a MSc in Health and Social Care
Management, and has started a level 7 in CIPD this year.

I’m Emma and I joined BCA in 2019. Since then, I’ve gained valuable experience in primary care services across Bradford and West Yorkshire. I’m passionate about improving access to healthcare and promoting equal opportunities for all patients in our communities. Looking ahead, I’m keen to explore innovative ways to deliver patient care, strengthen community partnerships, and support the development of more inclusive and responsive primary care services.
Elections to the Board shall be conducted every three years by a vote of the shareholders at general meeting.
